What are the best sailboats for long distance travel? - sailboats for salebc

Looking to buy a boat, I mean focusing on a sailboat in front of a vehicle. Is there are particularly well suited for longer distances? Say, from Maryland to Florida?

I assume a bigger boat would be better?

Sailboats usually run better suited for boats up to long-distance motor. The design is softer than in water and most reliable for long trips. The high cost of fuel cons of wind energy is "free" may also be important.

To say that the boats are better for long distance cuising, rowboats and boats are better than the boats of the Mizzen, it allows them to correct themselves and take a course slightly. They also tend to be longer and therefore have a more comfortable motion in the ocean

A sailboat is a compromise. It's about the type of browser you want and your budget. I surfed the Pacific coast, a Hunter 376th It was pleasant. I drove from La Paz, Baja California, Mazatlan, MX-25 "Frisco Flyer". Wonderful trip, not only as large as 38 'Hunter. Both were very nice and although both are good boats, I prefer smaller. Better built, more robust, a little less crazy and cheaper.
The owner of the Hunter spent more than $ 35,000 in the first year after purchase slip fees, maintenance and repair. The owner of the Lee 25 'Cheoy for less than $ 5,000. What is the amount I spent on my Cape Dory 25 ... By the way, a woman is the veil of his Cape Dory 25, New England in southern Florida. I just read about this in the good old boat magazine. More importantly, the captain is experience. N expeience and knowledge about the sea, whether you had a period of 48 or 19 Beneteau Potter "... both ships were traveling in a position, but perhaps the Captain?

Coastal Cruising will be mostly carried out on a sailboat from 35 to 42 feet. You can search only 2 to 8 Water is available and include the kitchen up to several days of March. Most have an engine to speeds of Hull in power and can, in most storms to navigate. These boats run less than $ 50,000 and up range used. The smallest I recommend about 30 "as one of Pearson, which can be harvested for about $ 10,000
