Weimaraner Chocolate Lab Mix What Is It....on My Dog: Big Red/purple Puffy Bruise Thing On Inside Of Cheek?

What is it....on my Dog: big red/purple puffy bruise thing on inside of cheek? - weimaraner chocolate lab mix

I have 3 years, a chocolate Lab / Weimaraner mix. He has this big round thing kind of purple bruise on the inside of the cheek. He has been there about a month. It is a little high, and the size of a plum. Vet thought it was an injury that could have been caused by a bite from an electrical wire, but said nothing, because none of the other lamps. And it would now be cured. It seems suddenly very purple. In addition to this area has a tooth pull about 1 month before happened. It is well healed. His mouth sometimes feels a little ... infectiony only slightly. The vet said he would make inquiries and then perhaps a biopsy.
Has anyone any idea whatthis thing is it? I fear that this could be something serious.

Nothing good grows in the mouth of a dog.
I do not want to frighten them, but please, the study of oral melanoma. I have one of my Rottweiler rescue for oral melanoma, even though the child is older than your dog. It was 7yo. Melanoma is a purple color and was on the roof of his mouth.

As already indicated, could be bruised, but after a month, I hope it will be a solution of the hematoma.

Wow, that is an odd position. Without seeing them in person, I make a suggestion into consideration. Hematoma, possibly caused by a bruise or blockage of a blood vessel caused by something as small fragments Clotte or a piece of dental problem. May for a while there, if it bad enough. They usually do not cause too much pain. And they are really ugly.

If you do not heal by themselves, not red. Normally, you do not prevent the leaks regularly Festy explain the occasional smell. Most of the time healing wounds do not really need to be emptied and cleaned to remove all dead and unhealthy tissue and body fluids. Followed by a course of antibiotics and others.

Very rarely, they can not heal in aMouth, but it is quite possible to have one.

If they are infected before really bad, no major problems or long established.

Also are not always bad, and sometimes even after trying everything to cure him spontaneously.
